An unfinished, Los Angeles mega-mansion sold last week for $28.5 million in the city’s uber-affluent gated community of Beverly Park.
Most recently asking $34.7 million, it was a case of third time lucky for the development, which has been trying the market since June 2019 with some modicum of success, according to listing records. On two previous occasions, the property entered contract, but neither deal crossed the finish line, and each time the listing was returned to the market to woo a buyer once more.
The concrete, two-story shell is approximately 70% completed, according to the listing with Shawn Shirdel of Sotheby’s International Realty, who did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
